While many fashion brands are quick to release Pride merchandise in June, Versace’s connection to the LGBTQ+ community is more significant: in 2019, Donatella Versace was named a Stonewall Ambassador and appeared alongside Lady Gaga at last year’s celebrations. Alongside those pieces are boxer shorts with a rainbow-colored waistband, and a pair of athletic socks featuring Versace branding and more rainbows. The collection, in line with most Pride-themed collections, is heavy on rainbow colors the colorway adorns items including Versace-branded bucket hats, baseball caps, and pool slides.
